The
UIWG comprises research meteorologists and hydrologists, development
organizations in support of AWIPS, NWS management, and when
appropriate, Weather Forecast Office (WFO)
forecasters. UIWG meetings are held whenever the need arises to collect
feedback on issues relating to AWIPS development.
